paag:resolution

Resolution refers to an area described as a number of columns multiplied with a number of lines. That area may describe the dimensions of a digital raster image or the dimensions of a digital raster display in pixels.

In addition to the dimensions in pixels, a resolution may be combined with physical dimensions to specify how many pixels can be displayed per physical unit of length, for example a 10 by 10 pixel area at a physical resolution of 1 by 1 cm means that each of the 100 pixels takes up the space of one square millimeter.
